UPESSC published Advertisement No. 06/2026 on 15 September 2026 for 2,607 Lecturer, or Post Graduate Teacher, posts in non-government aided secondary schools in Uttar Pradesh — 2,329 in boys' schools and 278 in girls' schools, across 26 subjects.
Registration opened on 18 September 2026; the fee can be paid until 17 October and the form corrected until 21 October. The written exam is on 15 and 16 December 2026.

Eligibility
A master's degree in the subject, with B.Ed.
- A postgraduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognised or deemed university established by law in India.
- A B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognised course.
- The minimum age is 21 on 1 July 2026; the service runs to superannuation at 62.

A 360-mark written paper, then a 40-mark interview.
