Overview
Five court posts in one examination, from stenography to Peon.
DSSSB is recruiting for the Delhi District Courts and Family Courts: Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant, Junior Judicial Assistant, Process Server and Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon. Vacancy Notice 04/2026 is dated 30 September 2026 and covers 641 posts.
Applications open at noon on 6 October 2026 and close at 11 PM on 4 November 2026. Each post code has its own examination scheme, so read the one that applies to you.

Personal Assistant and Junior Judicial Assistant posts are split between the District & Sessions Courts and the Family Courts; the notice gives the category-wise break-up, including backlog posts and reservations for persons with disabilities and ex-servicemen.

Eligibility
Age 18 to 27 on 1 June 2026; qualification varies by post.

Age (as on 1 June 2026)
18 to 27 years — born between 2 June 1999 and 1 June 2008. The upper limit relaxes by 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (13 for PwBD-OBC, 15 for PwBD-SC/ST), and by the length of military service plus 3 years for ex-servicemen, up to age 55.

Senior Personal Assistant and Personal Assistant (805/26)

Up to 25 times the vacancies are called for the descriptive test, from a common list for both posts. The MCQ paper is set in English only.
Junior Judicial Assistant (806/26)

Process Server (807/26) and Peon (808/26)
A bilingual MCQ paper of 100 marks in 120 minutes — English 25, Hindi 25, General Knowledge 25 and Arithmetic 25. Process Server candidates then take a driving test in real traffic conditions, which is qualifying, before the interview of 15 marks.
Negative marking and qualifying marks
Each MCQ carries one mark, with 0.25 deducted for a wrong answer. The minimum qualifying mark in the MCQ and descriptive tiers is 50% for UR and EWS candidates and 45% for OBC (Delhi), SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen.
