250 Group B posts in the Supreme Court registry, open to any graduate who can type.
The Supreme Court of India has advertised 250 tentative vacancies for Junior Court Assistant, a Group B non-gazetted post at Level 6 of the pay matrix with a starting basic pay of ₹35,400 plus allowances. Advertisement No. F.6/2026-SC (RC) is dated 30 September 2026.

Eligibility
A degree, computer knowledge and 35 words a minute.
- A bachelor's degree from a recognised university in India.
- Knowledge of computer operation, with a typing speed of 35 words per minute on a computer.
Age (as on 1 September 2026)
Not below 18 and not above 30. The usual relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), physically challenged and ex-servicemen candidates as per Government of India rules, and up to five years for dependants of freedom fighters. Departmental candidates of the Supreme Court registry have no upper age limit; employees of other government departments, PSUs or nationalised banks get no relaxation.

₹1,500, halved for reserved categories.
